Fireworks Portrait Photography

You can expect a light and relaxing photography session at Fireworks. Sessions typically run about an hour & we offer unlimited wardrobe changes & unlimited poses in each session! You can also select from a variety of backgrounds in-studio or have us photograph you on location.

We offer a wide variety of print and canvas sizes, color treatments & options for you to choose from. We also offer specialty gift items such as customized photo cards & custom photo books bound and printed in Italy.

What to wear to your session:

Clothes, Colors & Shoes: When it comes to colors in general, try to dress everyone in a similar color. Try to avoid large areas of light pastels, bold stripes, bold patterns or anything that is too distracting (a subtle pattern is fine). Also, avoid short sleeves; upper arms always tend to photograph wider than they are in real life. Keep in mind that white clothing may add the look of extra weight; dark colors tend to be slenderizing. Keep jewelry simple, conservative is always a safe choice.

Coordinating Clothes: The night before your portrait try laying out all the clothes the family will wear on the bed. Ask yourself if the clothes match or if there is something that just doesn't belong or is too distracting. Choose a color theme (solid colors are best) and clothing style that are representative of your family.

Hands: Ladies, hands are often included in portraits, they add femininity and elegance. Having your nails done is important.

Makeup: If you do not request a make-up artist during your session, please remember to bring along some make-up (lipstick and powder) for touch ups. Oil free make up is best, as the oil based make up tends to make it look like you are perspiring.
